Finding Repossessed Houses
Does anybody here know the easiest way to find repossessed houses for sale in a specific area? I know one can trawl auction houses and the like, as advised here, but is there a simpler solution?

You gotta have to check out neighborhoods, check out ads and check for foreclosure listings in your local area.

My purchase
I've recently found and purchased my first (repossessed) house through Houses In Stoke. I feel that I have got a bargain for the money. In between viewing the house and completing the purchase, the patio slabs had gone missing from around the back of the house. I later found out through the neighbour that the person who it was reposessed from visited the house to 'Reclaim' what he had paid out for. This really got me angry, but we haven't had anything else go missing since, so fingers crossed for now.
